The Saturday Superstars -
Are run by 2 super dudes with 3 super coaches
Doug & Greg Kellen, Runar, & Ron

Registration will be held on Saturday August 29, 2009, from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm.
To guarantee a spot on a team,
a bowler’s sanction fee must be paid at the time of registration.

We will have take-home copies of the league schedule, rules, and other informational materials available on the registration day.

Parents and bowlers with questions?
Feel free to come in and speak with one of the coaches during registration.

Bowlers that would like to be placed with their buddies or “buddy-ettes” can also request roster line-ups at the time of registration but roster places will not be held without the payment of the sanction fee for each bowler.
To make it easier, come with your team group and register together!

New this year, each junior bowler will receive his/her very own USBC T-shirt
to wear proudly every week and at tournaments throughout the season.

The registration date for the 2009-2010 season is
August 29th, 2009, from 9am - 12pm

Bowl 3 free games that day just for signing up, shoes included!

The Saturday Superstars will potentially offer 2 shifts -
* 8:00am - 3 person teams / ONLY if we get a minimum of 25 – 30 Bowlers
* 9:00/9:30am - 5 person teams / Will Be 9:00am Start if NO 8:00 Shift Available

9:00/9:30 shift is separated by 4 divisions based upon established team averages -
* North – Team Averages of 525 or less
* South - Team Averages from 500 - 700
* East – Team Average from 600 - 800
* West – Team Averages 750 or Higher

The Saturday Superstars season runs for 32 weeks.
Within those weeks we have holiday celebrations, fun days,
qualifiers for local tournaments, and a super year-end party
including trophies for the top 3 bowlers in each division and in several categories
plus randomly awarded door prizes

Cost will be $8.00/week
Plus an additional, ONE-TIME annual participation fee of $10.00/per bowler for 1 shift or $15.00/per bowler for 2 shifts (IF a second shift will be available)
to be used to fund the year-end trophies and pizza party
and other activities thoughout the season.

The Saturday Superstars league is sanctioned through the USBC
requiring an additional, ONE-TIME, nonrefundable, national sanction fee of $17.00
valid from August 1, 2009 through July 31, 2010

All sanctioned bowlers are eligible to earn awards at local and/or national levels for personal achievements, and are also eligible to participate in all sanctioned local and national tournaments (where college scholarships are awarded to top bowlers)
